How did we come to know and understand the ideas we learned this week?
This week I have learned that you can apply a large Question to almost any subject. When I picked the BQ;Why does democracy control people instead of let people be free?, I did not think I picked a good question. How many things would we discuss that actually will involve government? Now I'm understanding that if you look hard enough you can find almost anything in a subject that can apply to something completely unrelated. It is all hidden in symbolism, a person can be a symbol of a free mind and something as simple as where they work or what they do could be a shining abyss of freedom or the cold darkness of repression. Anything seems like it can be looked at at disassembled to help you find what you need. Of course this is not always a good way to look at things all the time. Doing that is related to what people do to persuade people and brain wash them. It is something that can be fatal or helpful.
