How was my participation in the learning process this week?
I learned that I enjoy speaking about things I have interest in standing up for. I feel like I'm more involved in the project then i previously was, and that at the end of the whole thing, I feel like showing the world my project so I can spread my ideas, I feel as though my participation has greatly increased because the project is based on something I am interested in. I really didn't think I would want to speak my mind that much and it makes me feel confident, something I don't always feel. On another note, I also learned how to use the program "Final Cut Pro" a little better and now when i work on a bigger project I will understand how to use it better and make things easier on myself when operating the program. My involvement in this project has grown over the week and I'm glad I took part in the project
The main ideas I have learned this week would have to do with leadership. Writing a paper and recording it, about something I believe in shows me what I stand for and what my views are on the subject. The subject I am writing about is schools, and knowledge, and how it is important to us. Writing about this makes me feel important and leaves me with a feeling, as though somebody is listening to what I have to say. Knowing that people will be listening to this is making me push myself harder to truly write with a feeling of a leader. I am the one supporting my opinion or believe, and must show it to my fellow students with how i truly feel about what i stand for. Learning about how to write to prove a point can clearly be seen as a usable skill to have in the future, and helps make my self a better writer in a whole. The style of writing associated with assignment, also opens up my eyes a different style of writing. As odd as it may sound, we are generally writing in third person, and rarely writing about our views, and opinions.
